day 2 10/6 education and a day in town

We had a fantastic buffet breakfast and got to know Lorrie and Vern a bit more. Then our presentation about ballooning from Scott.

From there we walk to downtown Old Town as a group then we were cut loose.

We got a group picture. 

Then saw the church

and the Cottonwood Madonna.

Wandered to Walgreens for sunscreen perused some galleries, saw the breaking bad store.

Then we went touristing thru the shops.

Wish I could have gotten one but it wouldn't survive the trip home. I was looking for a long sleeved t shirt to block the sun, found one heavier than I'd want but half price. 

We found some earrings for me and a lighter long sleeved shirt. Paul has not found anything. I like the twirly wind spinners but we didn't get one. I still liked the blouse I found at the airport better.

we went in the breaking bag candy store where they had x rated candy, and fudge

We ended up at the sawmill for lunch. It was good but a bit pricy.

We came back to the hotel to rest our tootsies for an hour before our lecture on hot air ballooning.

Dinner out at a nice restaurant. We met Joe and two women traveling with him from Connecticut. Very nice folks they paid for our bar tab too. Totally unexpected!
